What the Role Looks Like:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operator/Storeperson to join our highly skilled and dynamic team, operating a top-notch fleet.

Our Christchurch-based warehouse plays a key role in moving a variety of dairy products and other freight locally. As a Senior Warehouse Operator/Storeperson, you will lead from the front being hands on when required, providing motivation and guidance to the team and assisting the Supervisor with the smooth running of the operation. 

More specifically, your typical day will include a range of tasks including loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, devanning containers, and completing a range of relevant paperwork. You will also be responsible for receiving, dispatching, and storing goods with accuracy and care, maintaining inventory records and conducting regular stocktakes, leading by example while supporting other warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and assisting site management with operational improvements.

The successful candidate must be willing to learn and also be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual labour from time to time. Some flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs.

Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect.

Work Pattern:

Full-time, permanent role with a regular roster:

  • Dayshift
  • Monday – Friday (with Saturdays by exception)
  • Average shift: 10 – 12 hours

What You Will Bring to the Table:

  • F endorsement and OSH Certificate with 2 years of experience.
  • DG endorsement (preferred, but not essential)
  • A knack for learning new technology – show us your adaptability!
